I am sure it's not komoto who did the killing must be someone else may be his son, what about the guy in the hospital.
It's a real tragedy what happened to komoto.
Inspector megure looking for mori at the crime scene was funny, but he let him tag along in the investigation.

18:35 - 18:40 briliant shot. Camera goes up in the night, comes down in the morning and police cars are at building. Fantastic way to introduce the trouble

Seriously most cases are hit or miss .Last one was easy but this I don’t know about this one

There'd certainly be no reason to disguise his voice if it was really Komoto who killed Akiba and called Fuyuki, since he showed his face and spoke to Akiba in front of the Uedas and Shimoda (naming scheme tho).

revenge is deep rooted.

Yeah

Is that a not so known stereotype for Japanese/east Asian people or is it media exclusive?
"Why get revenge now, its been 10 years"(there are more examples with the same vibe like this but I can't think of any) like they are so out of touch, its unbelievably ridiculous
I'm not trying to be racist, just out of curiosity, its been bothering me, sorry if I upset you its not my intention

Its a common trope amongst detective shows. The desire for vengeance generally diminishes over time. Humans are impulsive emotional creatures, more inclined to take advantage of an opportunity, thus a motive is needed for why this individual would have been willing to cross continents to kill.

There are also episodes where some victims will be violent after an events. There are also people who wait for the longest time to get their revenge because rather than subsides the feeling of vengeance. Maybe because they associate their negative situations to the bad experience that happened to them. Human is very similar but at the same time different because of different point of view. We couldn't just say that it always happens in Japanese Community wherein sometimes similar things can happen at other countries. I don't know if you get point but yeah...

I totally get your point but im actually talking about the reaction of the people towards the it, like "you're taking revenge NOW? Really?!?" I mean its a terrible thing obviously, but if they never got the justice/ closure they needed/deserve it's not surprising that they want revenge, like why are they so surprised if they never apologized or made it up to them,
I know this happens to other countries too,.. I don't even remember what the source point of my curiosity was
